Our Experience
Life Essence Housing Support was established when Kelleigh had a vision to support women who needed a safe space during the pandemic, when domestic abuse and violence against women and girls reached its peak.
Life Essence managed a four-bedroom property that offered key worker support, counseling services, and workshops to aid in the recovery process for abuse survivors.
Our goal was to help rebuild confidence, self-worth, self-esteem, and foster healthy relationships for the future lives of these women.
During this period, Life Essence collaborated with existing support services and received targeted services from social services, domestic violence organizations, and healthcare providers.
After three years of delivering services and support, as the world began to recover from Covid, it was time for us to close Life Essence Housing. We successfully rehomed all the women and fulfilled our mission to respond to the needs of that season.
